Building coherent and high-quality programmes
As Curriculum Design Specialist, my focus was on creating programmes that were structurally sound, inclusive, and aligned to professional practice. Each programme was scoped, sequenced and quality assured to ensure consistency between learning intent, delivery and assessment. This required both strategic thinking and attention to the fine detail that makes learning flow logically and feel relevant to the learner’s role.
Click below to view an example of how I sequenced and mapped a programme as a CDS. This programme was Customer Service Practitioner Level 2, built specifically for the NHS to fill the void left by the old Business Administration Level 2 framework that wasn't converted to a standard. I needed to map the programme in a logical order, and add extra learning content to cover some of what used to be in the BAL2 - making sure the sequence made sense for learners.
